The person behind the practice

Accountancy should make the next decision easier.

Maebh Collins is an ICAEW Fellow Chartered Accountant developing Dundalk Accountants around one principle: owners should understand what their figures, filings and choices mean.

The public practice will open only when the required practising, insurance, AML, privacy and client-handling controls are verified. Until then, this is a pre-launch site and no professional engagement is formed through an enquiry.

Common questions

What information should I send with an initial enquiry?

A short description of the service you need, your business type and the best way to contact you is enough. Do not send PPS numbers, bank details, payroll files, tax identifiers or confidential financial records through the website form.

Can I enquire if I am changing accountant?

Yes. Explain that you are considering a change and mention the work involved, your next important deadline and whether your records are up to date. The professional-clearance and handover steps can be explained after scope and fit are reviewed.

Do you work with sole traders and small companies?

Those are the main audiences the site is designed for. Whether a particular engagement can be accepted depends on the service, timing, records, complexity and available capacity, which will be confirmed before work begins.

Do you provide statutory audit services?

No. Dundalk Accountants does not offer statutory audit. If your company may require an audit, say so in the enquiry and the appropriate independent specialist route can be considered.

What happens after I request a callback?

Your enquiry is reviewed to understand the service, deadline and likely scope. You will then be contacted using the details supplied. No engagement starts, and no confidential financial records should be sent, until scope, responsibilities and terms are agreed.

Not sure where to start?

Tell us what has changed.

A deadline, a new employee, an overdue filing or simply accounts that no longer help you make decisions.
